The September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001, exposed an entire nation to the horrors of terrorism, as never seen before. Unfortunately, terrorist acts in large and small a threat to the United States and the rest of the world remain. Kidnappings, bombings and assassinations are just some examples of terrorist acts that must be defended against. Fortunately, specially trained anti-terror dogs have worked day and night toDefense against the threat of terrorism.

The most important defense against terrorism is prevention. With his acute sense of smell, dogs can be of great help in early diagnosis units of explosives or weapons. The attacks are the single most frequently used terrorist tactics in the world. Most people are familiar with the sight of a dog sniffing a plane load of explosive material before it goes on board, but the routine inspection of such equipment must also be harmfulin many other places, such as government agencies, political sites, and even concert halls. Prevention of terrorism is to prevent terrorists from obtaining nuclear weapons as an instrument of many potentially devastating weapons or chemical weapons. Guard dogs get to play an important role in the safe custody enriched uranium-bearing piles and chemical research facilities to the wrong materials into the wrong hands.

Of course, while prevention is extremely important, not all situationscan be prevented. Antiterrorism dogs are trained to act quickly in a dangerous situation. A well-trained German shepherd or Belgian malinois can disarm a would-be attackers faster than any human body guard.
